002. You Are More Prepared Than You Think

Entering into motherhood, fatherhood or even pre-parenthood can be scary… AND you are prepared for it.

Bringing a child into the world is not a decision to take lightly. This decision comes with the responsibility of caring for another life. We’re right to acknowledge that responsibility is a lot to sign up for! The majority of parents feel overwhelmed at different points in their parenthood experience because of the sheer magnitude of this responsibility.

We are here to remind everyone that we are more prepared than we think. Every human being is born with a level of parental instinct by nature. Every parent has unique experiences that have set them up for success in parenthood. And we also tend to overlook how โ€œsimpleโ€ a child sees the world. Apart from a safe place to sleep + food, all children really need is our time + love. If we can deliver that, then we are crushing the parenting game.

In this episode, Courtney goes solo to ask a series of questions to reframe our thinking + step into parenting with confidence. A simple + easy reminder that we are all prepared to be parents organically!
