While enjoying a Division I College Hockey career at Boston University, I met Courtney + we started our first business project together: a sports charity for children with autism.⁠⠀

Upon graduation, I got my MBA + have been in the international banking world ever since.⁠⠀

But what's been the most fun + fundamental in providing financially for our family has been our shared love of entrepreneurship...⁠⠀

Especially the passive kind that allows us to earn a paycheck, while earning a paycheck, and getting to work-from-home next to our kids the whole time. 💵⁠⠀

I'm a wife, mom of 2 + serial entrepreneur. And no one is more surprised about my business consulting career than I am...⁠⠀

I spent the majority of my life planning to become a doctor. But when a deep look into the US healthcare system proved to me that I wouldn't be influencing family wellness the way I had dreamed, I had the opportunity to dream again.⁠⠀
.⁠⠀
What I knew for sure was that there had to be a better way to support the modern family. And with my natural love of entrepreneurship + a lot of personal experience, my husband Kev + I found ways to prioritize health + wealth as a family on our own terms together.⁠⠀
.⁠⠀
The result is this: The majority of my waking hours are spent with our kids. I'm full-time, hands-on engaged. But I'm also earning a paycheck passively through online business. I've setup systems that work while I sleep (or the babies sleep).⁠⠀
.⁠⠀
I don't spend money on a babysitter because I'm making money that pays me to be the childcare. And I wouldn't have it any other way.⁠⠀
.⁠⠀
This is stay-at-home parenthood redefined.⁠⠀
.⁠⠀
And I want every family to have this option, too. ⁠⠀

What would happen if more corporate businesses acknowledged that supporting parents would ultimately support their bottom-lines?⠀

👉🏼 longer parental leaves⠀
👉🏽 work-from-home operations⠀
👉🏾 benefits coverage for wellness⠀
👉🏿 creative solutions welcomed... + more.⠀

Because when we support parents to move with the biological demands of their own bodies + babies, we free up the added stress, anxiety, overwhelm + disconnect that then translates into unproductive business.⠀

👉🏼 We start seeing empowered parents making informed choices, getting the "right" work done in a way that feels good to them + actually saving money by investing in preventive care (stopping sickness before it starts) over expensive coverage for acute care (treating an illness or injury once it happens).⠀

We'd also see healthy, thriving families — children with secure attachment bonds to their parents, deep trust + strong communication, healthier birth outcomes, improved academic success... the list goes on.⠀
